According to CNS Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, INS Aridhaman, the third Arihant-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) has entered its final trials and is expected to be commissioned soon. With Arihant and Arighaat already operational, Aridhaman’s induction places India among top global naval powers. The 7,000-tonne vessel is capable of carrying longer-range missiles.
