Indian-origin associate professor Eshan Chattopadhyay and professor David Zuckerman have jointly won the 2025 Gödel Prize for their 2016 research paper 'Explicit two-source extractors and resilient functions'. Their paper tackled "long-standing challenge of generating reliable randomness from weak... sources".The prize is awarded for outstanding papers in the area of theoretical computer science.
