Indian-origin man Sukhpreet Singh, arrested in US' Texas in June over the assault of Elnaz Hajtamiri in 2021 in Canada, has been extradited to Canada, local media reported. The 25-year-old faces charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. Singh's arrest brings the total number of individuals charged in Hajtamiri's case to eight.
