During a joint conference with UK PM Keir Starmer, PM Narendra Modi said that Indian-origin people living in UK act as a "living bridge" in the two countries' relations. "They didn't just bring curry from India but also creativity, commitment and character. Their contribution isn't restricted to just UK's economy...[but also in its] culture, sports and public service," he added.
