An Indian-origin woman has been jailed for over five years for offering bribe to Singapore police officers in 2022. The woman, a repeat drug offender, was being taken to jail for an offence when she offered SGD 1000 to the policemen to smoke a cigarette. She did this even after being allowed to smoke a few sticks of cigarettes.
