Indian Railways has secured 1,500 MW of renewable energy as part of its sustainability efforts. Strengthening this commitment, it signed a 170 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Madhya Pradesh government, securing India’s cheapest solar power at ₹2.15/kWh.
