Indian state-owned refiners continue to buy Russian oil despite US President Donald Trump's 100% tariff threats, ANI reported quoting sources after a Reuters report claimed they'd stopped doing so. Sources said Russian oil was never sanctioned but its price was capped by G7 and EU countries. Had India not "absorbed" discounted Russian oil, prices could've risen beyond $137/barrel, sources added.
