Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace, founded by ex-ISRO scientists Pawan Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka, will launch India’s first private commercial rocket by January 2026. Planning launches every three months, Skyroot expects $5 million per mission. With $95 million raised so far, the startup leads India’s private space revolution, making satellite launches more affordable.
