A college student from Mangaluru, Remona Evette Pereira, entered the Golden Book of World Records (GBR) with her 170-hour-long Bharatanatyam performance. She participated in a marathon on July 21, which concluded a week later on July 28. "She was allowed only a 15-minute break every three hours, and despite this, her energy and spirit never faltered," her teacher told TOI.
