Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Monday said over 1,500 Indian students in Iran, most of them from Jammu and Kashmir, are being moved to safer places within Iran amid conflict with Israel. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Indian Embassy in Tehran is "closely monitoring the security situation". At least 230 people have been killed in Iran in Israeli strikes.
