Indian wood and furniture exporters are set to gain a sharp competitive edge in the US after President Trump's new global tariffs cut duties from 50% to 10-25%. GTRI noted the move could boost India's cost competitiveness in kitchen cabinets, upholstered furniture, and lumber, driving exports higher in FY2026.
