At an average of ₹101/litre, petrol prices in India are about ₹5.5/litre higher than China, ₹16/litre higher than Bangladesh and ₹42.2/litre more than Bhutan. Notably, in Indian rupee terms, petrol prices in Iran and Libya are ₹2.4/litre and ₹2.3/litre.
