Federation of India Pilots (FIP) blamed IndiGo’s hiring freeze for its recent operational disruptions, during which over 100 flights were cancelled in a single day. "Disruption is the direct consequence of IndiGo's prolonged and unorthodox lean manpower strategy across departments," the pilot's body said. IndiGo reported DGCA's flight duty time limitation norms as the reason behind disruptions.
