Habib Ahmed, the legendary Indian hairstylist, passed away on September 25 at 84. His son Jawed Habib announced the news on Instagram on Friday. He transformed hairstyling into a respected profession, styling icons like Indira Gandhi and APJ Abdul Kalam. Habib Ahmed's father was the official hairdresser for Lord Linlithgow, who was Governor-General and Viceroy of India.
