Union Minister JP Nadda posted on X that the Indus Water Treaty was ex-PM Jawaharlal Nehru’s "Himalayan Blunder". Nadda alleged that ex-PM Nehru signed the treaty "without consulting the Indian Parliament" and added, "It was a decision that permanently compromised India’s water security and national interest." This comes after India kept the treaty in abeyance after the Pahalgam terror attack.
