IndusInd Bank on Monday appointed Viral Damania as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect. "Viral Damania is a qualified chartered accountant…a finance leader with over 27 years of…experience," the bank said. Earlier, ex-CFO Gobind Jain wrote to PM Narendra Modi, demanding Chairman Sunil Mehta's ouster for allegedly covering up discrepancies, which caused ₹1,960-crore loss.
