Nashik-based industrialist Sunil Hekre died after the ₹1.5-crore Mercedes SUV he was travelling in with his family skidded and flipped on Maharashtra's Samruddhi Mahamarg. Hekre's son was reportedly driving at high speed when another vehicle splashed water on the SUV, following which the car lost control. Notably, Hekre, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, didn't survive despite SUV's nine airbags.
