Infant period: Why do newborn girls bleed?
short by / on 02 Jun 2025,Monday
Neonatal uterine bleeding results from sudden maternal estrogen withdrawal post-birth. Mini periods in baby girls are usually harmless and caused by hormone withdrawal after birth.
