Ex-Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the "inhumane governance" of N Chandrababu Naidu's government led to atrocity where a woman was tied to a tree and tortured over unpaid debts in Chittoor district. Reddy urged strict action against culprits. IT Minister Nara Lokesh confirmed the accused have been arrested and said government "accords utmost importance to women's protection".
