A departmental inquiry has been marked by the Jalandhar Rural police against an officer of the Maqsudan police, after a CCTV footage surfaced wherein he is allegedly seen accepting bribe. Harbans Singh had gone to a house after receiving a complaint against a man, where he allegedly sought bribe to hush up the case.
