INS Aravali, the Indian Navy's newest naval base, was commissioned at Gurugram on 12 September, by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi. Named after the Aravali range, it will enhance maritime domain awareness, communications, and logistics, embodying the motto "Maritime Security through Collaboration" and strengthening India's role as a preferred security partner in the Indian Ocean Region.
