Meta has rolled out two new safety features in Instagram DMs to protect teens including alerts urging caution when starting chats and visible account creation dates to help identify suspicious users. A one-step 'Block and Report' button is also being added. For children under 13 with adult-managed accounts, stricter safety settings will now apply, especially targeting young users in India.
