Instagram has set a new rule on its Live Broadcast feature, allowing only public accounts with a minimum of 1,000 followers to have access to start live sessions. This feature was earlier available to all users irrespective of follower count or account type. The reason for this decision is unknown, but reports suggest it will reduce "lower-quality" live streams.
