Independent MP from Purnia, Pappu Yadav, reacted after a video showed security stopping him and Kanhaiya Kumar when they attempted to board a van carrying Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during the Mahagathbandhan protest in Bihar. "The people themselves want me to tolerate this insult... and remain silent," he told NDTV. "I am staying silent because of the people," he added.
