An inter-state drug supplier was arrested in East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, with heroin worth ₹40 lakh. The accused, Isak L Joute (26) of Shillong, was traveling from Manipur to Shillong when police and ANTF intercepted his bus at Byndihati. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered.
