The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended the mobile internet, broadband, and SMS services for 48 hours in Bareilly district amid the 'I love Muhammad' row. The suspension will stay effective from 3 pm on October 2 (Thursday) to 3 pm on October 4 (Saturday), officials said. The step has been taken to prevent rumour-mongering and communal unrest during festival celebrations.
