Internet services were suspended in Leh after arrest of activist Sonam Wangchuk on Friday. The arrest comes amid allegations that Wangchuk incited a mob with provocative statements. Leh has witnessed violent clashes between police and protestors who are demanding statehood for Ladakh. Protestors had set BJP office on fire, and police fired teargas shells to disperse them on September 24.
