Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) purchased 2 million barrels of US crude for October delivery, Reuters reported. The purchase occurred at premium of $2.80-$2.90 a barrel to dated Brent. This comes after the US imposed 50% tariffs on India, pressurising it to halt purchases from Russia. Another report stated that IOC and BPCL together bought 22 million barrels of non-Russian crude.
