A 25-year-old student, identified as Gautam Kumar, of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University died by alleged suicide on Sunday in southwest Delhi, officials said. Citing sources, PTI reported that the deceased was upset after he was expelled from the hostel for celebrating a birthday party. After the incident, dozens of students staged a protest at the campus.
