India pacer Sandeep Sharma, commenting on Shreyas Iyer's omission from Asia Cup squad, opined that captaincy in IPL is not the criterion to be the captain of the Indian team. "IPL is a domestic league...This debate that Iyer as a captain took his team to the finals is senseless. Suryakumar Yadav is not doing captaincy of any franchise," he added.
