Tamil Nadu government has revoked suspension of Balveer Singh, an ex-Assistant Superintendent of Police who was accused of custodial torture in 4 cases. He's accused of extracting teeth and crushing testicles of suspects. Stating that revoking the suspension won't affect the case, an official added that Singh won't be assigned law and order duties or any role involving public interaction.
