Ex-Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi visited the residence of late IPS officer in Haryana, who allegedly died by suicide. Channi recalled that during farmers' protest, the officer was allegedly instructed to open fire at agitating farmers, but he refused to do so. "He didn't die by suicide but was martyred for standing up for Dalits and the poor," Channi said.
