Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has appointed Major General Mohammad Pakpour as the new Commander-in-Chief of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This comes after Lieutenant General Hossein Salami was killed in the Israeli attack on military and nuclear sites in Iran. Several military commanders and nuclear scientists also lost their lives in the attack.
