Iran had requested Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman to press US President Donald Trump to use his influence to make Israel agree to an immediate ceasefire, Reuters reported, citing Iranian and regional sources. In return, Iran had reportedly offered to be flexible during nuclear negotiations. The Gulf states are concerned conflict will get out of hand, the report stated.
