Iran has launched hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel after the latter hit its nuclear and military sites. The Israeli military said it was trying to intercept "the threat", adding that the public has been instructed to enter a protected space. Air raid sirens were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
