US State Secretary Marco Rubio, during his call with Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday, asserted that Iran can never develop or acquire a nuclear weapon. Both leaders emphasised the importance of cooperating to promote lasting peace between Israel and Iran and upholding regional stability. Pakistan had earlier condemned Israeli and US strikes on Iran.
