Iran is considering placing naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz if US intervenes in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, New York Times reported citing US officials. Iran has reportedly prepared missiles and other military equipment for strikes on US bases in the Middle East if US supports Israel. US has over 40,000 troops in the Middle East.
