Iran said on Monday that it hanged a man named Bahman Choobiasl accused of spying for Israel. Iran accused Choobiasl of meeting with officials from the Israeli spy agency Mossad and reportedly working on "sensitive telecommunications projects" and reported about the "paths of importing electronic devices". Iran has hanged nine people for espionage since its June war with Israel.
