US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Iran is "much further away" from developing a nuclear weapon than it was before the US carried out military strikes on its nuclear sites. Earlier, President Donald Trump claimed the strikes had “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear facilities. However, a Pentagon report stated the strikes only set the programme back by a few months.
