Iran's ex-Economy Minister Ehsan Khandouzi said vessels should only transit Strait of Hormuz, which facilitates large-scale transport of crude oil barrels, with Iranian permission and this policy should be carried out for 100 days. "Delay in carrying it out means prolonging war," Khandouzi said. Iran has threatened to close strait amid Israel conflict even as it doesn't exclusively control it.
