US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said he spoke to his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant in connection to Israel's strikes on Iran, which killed at least four soldiers. "I...made (it) clear that Iran shouldn't make the mistake of responding to Israel's strikes," said Austin on X. This came after Iran said it had the "right and the duty" to defend itself.
