To tackle complaints about substandard food and overcharging on trains, IRCTC will collaborate with the Akshaya Patra Foundation to offer hygienic, fixed-price meals to passengers. These ₹80 meals, featuring rice, chapatis, dal, vegetables, and pickle, will be served on eco-friendly corn flour plates and initially offered at select stations and onboard. The initiative will launch before August 15.
