IRCTC has blocked 2.5 crore user IDs and put 20 lakh others under revalidation with the aim of putting an end to a large-scale ticketing scam which saw majority of tickets getting booked minutes after ticket window's opening. Such quickly-booked tickets were later resold in black market for higher prices, officials said. IRCTC has blocked over 6,800 disposable email domains.
