NAV reflects a fund’s per-unit price, not its growth potential. A fund with 10 units at ₹10 and another with 1 unit at ₹100 can deliver different returns. What really matters is the quality and performance of the underlying portfolio. If stocks in a fund fall, its NAV drops, if they rise, NAV increases, regardless of the starting-price.
