BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi called Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's remarks on Hinduism intolerable. "Has Congress embarked on a program of eradication of Hinduism...and instructed its Chief Ministers to launch attacks on...Hinduism," he asked. "If we cannot have consensus even on God, how can...everyone agree on one political leader?" Reddy had said, referring to multiple Gods in Hinduism.
