A persistent fever without an apparent infection can be a sign of kidney cancer, according to top doctors. This fever occurs as the body's immune system reacts to the presence of cancerous cells. "One of the less common yet significant reasons for unexplained or recurring fever is kidney cancer," said Dr Mohammed Mithi, surgical oncologist at Saifee Hospital.
