Bangladesh's National Sports Council (NSC) removed Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) new director Ishfaq Ahsan hours after he was elected to the role. NSC, the governing body responsible for overseeing sports in Bangladesh, took action against Ahsan due to his alleged political affiliations. NSC will reportedly appoint a female board director in Ahsan's place.
