Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu has told families of hostages held in Gaza that Israel has accepted a new ceasefire proposal presented by US' Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, Israeli media reported. Hamas said it received the proposal from mediators and was currently reviewing it, Reuters reports. Witkoff earlier said he's hopeful about facilitating a deal to end Israel-Hamas conflict.
