The Israeli cabinet approved a Gaza ceasefire deal with Hamas, which will come into effect on Sunday, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's office said. As part of the first phase of the three-stage agreement, Hamas will release 33 of the 98 Israeli hostages who were kidnapped during the October 2023 attack. Israel will release all Palestinian women and children under 19.
