Israel on Friday declared Gaza a "dangerous combat zone", saying it was in initial phases of its planned offensive in the city. Israel's military said it was suspending the pauses during which it had been allowing food and other humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. Israel also said it had recovered the body of a hostage and the remains of another.
